Dr. Pournik has completed over 500 veneer cases, helping over 500 people obtain their ideal smile. Her experience enables her to take care of both straightforward cosmetic improvements and more complex cases involving worn teeth, TMJ and bite issues, and combining veneers with other treatments.
She has studied in some of the most prestigious institutes for post-graduate training in cosmetic dentistry, including smile design, aesthetics and facial harmony.

Dr. Pournik begins her procedure by taking multiple images with digital photos, X-rays, and 3D imaging. She uses an intraoral scanner to capture precise impressions. She will also screen for bite or TMJ problems if wear or fractures are present.
Dr. Pournik will discuss with you how you would like your smile to look and show you sample smiles. Together you’ll decide on the veneers, shape, size and shade, and how they will harmonize with your face.

For many patients, we create a temporary mock-up made out of tooth-colored materials and put it directly in the mouth so the patient can visualize the length, contours and overall look in real time.
Dr. Pournik makes any adjustments until the patient is fully satisfied with how their veneers and smile look.

Once you’ve approved your smile, you’re ready for your veneers. Dr. Pournik preps your teeth so that the veneers will adhere firmly and won’t pop off. She keeps the procedure minimally invasive, shaving off as little tooth structure as possible. In some cases, Dr. Pournik can use no-prep veneers, meaning there’s no alteration to your tooth structure.
Dr. Pournik takes final digital scans and finalizes the shade of the veneers under natural lighting, and places temporaries based on the design of the final veneers.

Dr. Pournik uses top US labs to craft your veneers. Master ceramists use high-grade porcelain that they carefully layer so that the veneer has a natural color and translucent look.
Within 1 to 2 weeks, your final veneers will be ready to place! You’ll first have a try-in appointment, where each veneer is tried individually and together, and Dr. Pournik verifies the shape, shade, symmetry and bite and instructs the lab to make any necessary changes. Once you and Dr. Pournik approve their smile, the veneers are permanently bonded in.
The results: A stunning smile and a happy patient!
Creating veneers is not just about improving the look of your teeth—it’s about designing a smile that looks natural, feels comfortable, and lasts over time. Our approach is based on careful planning, conservative techniques and attention to both aesthetics and function.
For many patients, we create a temporary mock-up directly on their teeth so they can see the proposed shape and length in real time. This allows you to give feedback and make adjustments before any final work is completed.
We take a conservative approach to veneers, often requiring little to no tooth preparation. Whenever possible, we preserve your natural enamel while still achieving the desired cosmetic result.
Each smile is custom-designed to complement your facial features, proportions, and overall appearance. We focus on creating a result that looks natural and balanced—not overdone.
How your teeth come together plays a major role in the longevity of your veneers. We evaluate your bite and make adjustments when needed to reduce stress on your teeth and help protect your veneers over time.

Before your veneers are permanently placed, we try them in and evaluate the shape, symmetry, and shade. You will have the opportunity to see how they look and feel, and any adjustments can be made before final bonding.
Nothing is finalized until both you and Dr. Pournik are fully satisfied with the result.
