Creating Beautiful Smiles For Life.
Supplemental Services
The following dental services are provided as part of or post-cosmetic, implant or dental rehabilitation treatment.

Bone Grafting, Sinus Bumps and Lifts
Bone grafting is performed any time there is insufficient healthy bone to support teeth or implants. We also place a bone graft in the socket after extractions. When there isn’t enough bone in the upper back jaw for implants, Dr. Fallah, our periodontist, will lift the sinus cavity and place a bone graft.

TMJ Treatment
We use advanced tools to evaluate TMJ (jaw joint) issues, including jaw tracking, muscle activity and bite force analysis. Dr. Pournik can see how the jaw moves, measure bite forces and identify imbalance. TMJ problems can cause headaches, muscle tension and a poor bite. The TMJ and bite are important to correct as part of any treatment to avoid jaw joint pain and teeth grinding.

Teeth and Wisdom Teeth Extractions
If a tooth or wisdom tooth needs to be removed as part of your treatment, we gently extract it, preserving as much of the bone structure as possible. We will also place a bone graft in the socket to replace any lost bone.

Gum Grafting
We use gum grafting when gum tissue is thin or has receded, helping strengthen and support the teeth and surrounding structures and improve aesthetics. It may be recommended as part of your treatment to improve long-term stability and protect your results.

Comfort and Sedation Options
Our office is calm and relaxing, and we provide blankets, pillows, headphones, snacks and drinks. We provide IV sedation for longer procedures such as dental implants, full-mouth implants and extractions. We also offer the NuCalm drug-free relaxation system. Our patients’ comfort is our top priority.

Cleanings and Gum Disease Treatment
Patients can receive ongoing cleanings using the latest in hygiene technology, including ultrasonic scalers, air polishers and laser therapy.
More advanced gum disease is treated by our periodontist using a laser treatment—LANAP (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure). LANAP is a non-surgical gum treatment that targets and sterilizes the bacteria deep below the gum line and promotes new attachment of the gum to the root.
