Hedieh Pournik, DDS, FICOI
A Focus on Aesthetics, Function, and Lasting Results
Dr. Pournik’s approach to dentistry is centered on creating smiles that not only look beautiful, but also function comfortably and hold up over time. Her work focuses on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and more complex cases where both appearance and function need to be carefully considered together.
Rather than treating teeth one at a time, she takes a comprehensive view—looking at your smile, your bite and your overall oral health to develop a plan tailored to you.
More About Dr. Pournik
Education
Dr. Pournik earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas in Houston. She spent the next five years attending courses all over the world to further her skills and knowledge.
Advanced Training
With a growing focus on providing high-quality dental replacement and beautiful smiles, Dr. Pournik has attended prestigious institutions that offer advanced postgraduate training in cosmetic and implant dentistry. She strongly believes that to be an outstanding cosmetic dentist, one must have a broad understanding of all dental disciplines. Experience and knowledge go hand in hand.
- Dr. Pournik has trained with the Las Vegas Institute (LVI), where she studied cosmetic smile design, bite analysis and occlusion (how teeth come together). This training supports her ability to plan cases that balance aesthetics with function. Her experience includes hundreds of cosmetic cases, including over 500 veneer treatments.
- She has been awarded a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and has been placing implants since 2012.
- Dr. Pournik attended a two-year mini-residency in orthodontics.
- Her compassion for patients with dental anxiety led her to obtain her IV sedation certification to provide a safe and stress-free environment for those that need the extra care during their treatment.
Outside the Practice
When she is not working at the office, she and her husband spend time with numerous animal rescue organizations, Girls on the Run and other non-profits. They both enjoy being active and spending their free time outdoors.

Pooria Fallah Abed, DDS
Specialist in Gum Health and Implant Surgery
Dr. Fallah is a periodontist—a dental specialist who focuses on the gums, bone, and supporting structures of the teeth, as well as the surgical aspects of dental implant treatment.
He earned his DDS degree in 2009 and completed his specialty training in periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry in 2015.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics, a distinction that reflects advanced training and expertise in his field.

Collaborative Care
Dr. Fallah works closely with Dr. Pournik to plan and carry out treatment. This collaboration enables the practice to integrate surgical expertise with cosmetic and functional planning, providing a coordinated approach to more complex cases.
